You Need to Stop Investing On Others
How many times have we put someone else above us and got hurt by it? It’s about time we make a stop to it

Ok, I’ve been out of touch with writing for a while. It’s so hard to allocate time to a hobby when you are putting effort into work and success. Enough with that.
Let’s talk about something different. This one is not a doubt, but you may come across this eventually.
I’ve been happy for a while now. This is a very new spectrum of feelings for me because there was always sadness and stress even when I was in a relationship a few years ago. So, what made the difference this time around? I thought about it for a second. What truly changed was how I started to think for myself and without worrying about others.
It may come out as a selfish thing to do as a person, but sometimes, being selfish is a solution you’d have to look for.
I used to be a people pleaser. Be it parents, friends, and even the ones I loved. I worked with my blood, sweat, and tears to please them. And because of that, I have to keep up with my efforts, not for me but for the sole purpose of addressing the needs of others. I have never spent a moment thinking about myself or my improvements and in the end, Although I built others, I couldn’t build myself.
I have used every material and equipment on others that, when it comes to me, I was left with nothing but scraps and joints of what once was. Although I managed it somehow, scraping through the bottom of it and collecting enough to start building myself up, and got lucked out by finding a supportive pillar.
When you don’t have to think about others but yourself, Life becomes much easier for you. If you ever think about putting others first, think about whether you’ll have enough to build yourself afterward. If not, always put yourself first. At the end of the day, you are the only one you have.
